Blog About Our Supplement Journey

On to New Things June 14, 2008

Well, there isn’t much more I can say about our MMS journey, now it is just wait and see time.  We are hoping that the MMS will cure the nail fungus my husband has, but we won’t know for quite sometime.  Regrowth takes so long, and I am extremely impatient.  I guess that is why MMS was so good for us, it worked and it worked quickly on most everything.  Great supplement for those that are impatient, and now it is added permanently to our daily supplements.  I will definitely keep you posted on any relapses or anything new that pops up while on MMS, but I won’t be blogging about that so much anymore.  It is time to move on to other things.

I am not sure yet, but I think our next journey will be a weight loss journey.  Afterall, how can the MMS truly eliminate everything if we still continue to practice poor lifestyle habits?  Things we are considering for our weightloss supplements are; Commiphora Mukul (Guggul), Nettle, Green Tea, Cayenne and a couple others.  We may even combine a couple, adding one at a time to make sure there are no ill-effects from supplement mixing.  Possible two or three with a diet high in green tea, and perhaps cutting out all or most HCFS (High Fructose Corn Syrup), but that will be a challenge in and of itself.  I am going to do some supplement research this weekend and perhaps have an answer by Monday or something more concrete.

Here is the nitty gritty, I am about 30-40 lbs overweight, and my husband is morbidly obese and needs to shed a lot of weight.  Not only do we need to do it for health reasons, but it just seems like a good thing to do and hope for some results.  I can say that the MMS has helped him get a bit more active, and that is a good starting point.  He has already played golf twice this month, and that is a huge positive for us.

I still don’t have any water, it has now been 4 days.  I do, however, have a giant gaping hole in my front yard and a very long pipe laying near it.  The long pipe is no longer attached to anything, so hopefully tomorrow it will be attached to something.  I had to take the family elsewhere to shower, and we have been living on “garbage” food that we can microwave in paper dishes as we cannot wash anything.  I guess it’s a classic case of you don’t know what you have until it’s gone.  hmmmph.  Maybe tomorrow is my lucky day.  Cross your fingers.

I am fed up with traditional medicine, and am looking for more natural ways to take care of my family.  I want to prevent health problems, and am not looking to cure anything.  I want our immune systems to function as they should, so everything else will fall into place.  Is it too much to ask that our bodies do what they were programmed to do?  I don’t think so, that is why I am looking for things to help us do just that.
